Cuts off paperwork at the end of this year

– Land & Maritime FTA Board Chairman
confirmed that FTA will cancel all paper-
based transactions within this year.
He indicated that FTA is working to
cancel all paper-based works and apply
full electronic –transaction in all FTA
businesses. He also explained that the
Ministry is discussing with a number of
local authorities in order to improve and
develop smart services project.
HE said that in the FTA HQ in Abu Dhabi
when he launched Electronic Certification
Program in order to achieve the index of
reduction of customers visits as FTA is
continuously working to improve customer
experience and to provide the best services
that meet their requirements. It is also
in line with the vision of the Customer
Service Department that aims to be the best
government body in the customer service.

Al Nuaimi said that to bring happiness
to people is very important matter for us
in United Arab Emirates and to establish
the fastest step in a humble achievement
within our government-approved strategic
plans of smart government and bringing
happiness to people. He also indicated that
themovement pattern these days is fast , no
can go back after the approval of the smart
government that requires to communicate
people and complete their transactions
from their homes and offices.
