Saif bin Zayed inaugurates smart travel system at Abu Dhabi International Airport
A Paradigm shift that reflects the best of UAE
Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al
Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister
of Interior inaugurated a smart travel
system that allows passengers to enjoy
smart travel experience and further
enables them to finalize travel procedures
very much easier and faster from arrival at
the terminal to boarding the aircraft.
Smart travel system allows passenger and
luggage check-in much easier rather than
queuing in a line in front of the counters
to receive boarding passes. In addition
all travelers can also directly proceed to
e-gates in order to finalize their travel
formalities, no need once again to go to
the passport control and to wait in front
of the counters.
Smart travel system provides the
passengers with smart travel procedures
services, luggage check-in, e-gates that
check travelers passports date and their
facial features, boarding the plane and
many other smart services.
HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan said
that smart travel system at Abu Dhabi
International Airport is a paradigm shift
that would improve and facilitate travel
procedures and services which reveals the
best impression of UAE which has crossed
long strides in aviation services in order
to provide arrivals and departures with
convenience in all airports.
He also said that airports facilities and
quality services maintain and further
improve their positions in international
aviation so UAE Government is so
interested in developing and improving
such services in order to increase
passengers satisfaction and exceed
their expectations with the best services
enabling them to finalize their travel
procedures very much easier. He also
praised the progress of Abu Dhabi
International Airport as an international
highly advanced airport and he called for
further developments in order to keep
up with the best services and modern
technologies.
He also watched with many attendants
a film of smart travel easier and faster
procedures, features and benefits used
by the passengers in Abu Dhabi Intl.
Airport. He was also briefed about the new
smart system that provides the passenger
with auto services to finalize their travel
procedures so much easier and faster than
before.
