Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President,
Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai has
directed World Government Summit
to start to build new international
partnerships and to launch government
education initiatives in cooperation with
governments all over the world.
It is intended to envision the next
generation of future governments and
to enhance governments readiness for
future changes and challenges at all areas.
As world government summit has started
from now on working as an international
organization and it will continue to work
around the year to achieve this goal.
This followed the successful official
closing of 4thWorld Government Summit
that has been witnessed more than 130
countries and 4500 participants of which
2000 international -government high
profile personalities.
HE Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Qarqawi,
the Chairman of World Government
Summit emphasized that the 4th World
Government Summit was characterized
with an intensive participation of the 4
biggest international organizations that
are UN, World Bank, Organization for
Economic Cooperation & Development,
and the World Economic Forum in
addition to Arab League and GCC
Secretariat-General.
HE indicated that the Summit was
characterized with the participation of
USA President Barak Obama and with
the future dialogue held by HH Sheikh
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and
inwhich he declared a future government
in United Arab Emirates.
HE said that “The United Arab Emirates
hosting
this
international
summit
expressesitssignificantpositionworldwide
and its influential role in different
essential fields that serve communities
and upgrade life-style through boosting
sustainable development at world level. He
emphasized that HH Sheikh Mohammed
binRashidAlMaktoumdirected toupgrade
the summit to a higher level envisioning
human future in all sectors, addressing
present and future issues and generating
knowledge to enhance the governments
readiness to future challenge at all long,
intermediate and short terms. It will make a
significant developmental and knowledge
contribution provided by UAE to the world
and a platformworking around the year to
optimize services used by about 7 billion
people.”
HE added that “the World Government
Summit has become an international
organization with global goals working
around the year, issuing future researches
and studies, launching development
indicators, working with partners all
around the world sharing points of views
on the best practices to upgrade the world
real fact and to enhance it to prepare for
future as required.”
HE indicated that the significant changes
inthesummitthatincludestransformation
from world event into organization and
international research center. In addition
tore-structuringsessions intoshortperiod
sessions and open dialogue between
speakers and attendants and creation of
effective communication feature with
the participants and attendants and
the Innovative Government Exhibition
organized by Mohammed bin Rashid
Center for Government Innovation and
the World’s Best Minister Award that have
been welcomed by many countries.
